The "Yakmobile" The almost pointless resurrection, restoration and running of a 1953 Norman Model 'C' Autocycle

Well those imminent Video clips I promised have been a bit more bother than I thought, however I'm working on it. In the meantime here is a shot of the first pedal of the first historic trundle of the Yak.

Yep the Yak puttered up and down the track a variety of times with three different riders and left all of them deeply moved. Something to do with the wobbly seat I fear.

So now it was time for another cuppa and some meaningful perusing of the machine. Perusing motorbikes must be one of the best ways yet devised to spend quality time. Next time you see a machine stationary, chances are that it'll be being perused. Especially if it's a weekend afternoon. Go to any scenic spot and you'll find machines, being perused. Perused by huddles who will motion towards intimate parts and then comment sagely either on the need for (when absent), or the foolishness of (when present) 'modifications'. Just occasionally some one will point out a modification in an approving and appreciative manner. This is a risky gambit, which may result in further nodding, hemming and approval, but may well result in howls of derision from companions. In this way is all human social behaviour reflected in polished alloy.

And so in this most traditional manner we perused. What I like to think separates us from many casual perusers is that we moved onto the much less common activity of 'doing stuff'. The stuff we did next was;

The stuff we did Next,
